Iman's Little Prophecy

I dreamed a dream that I laid down next to someone. I don’t know who, but we’ll refer to them as “him”. I laid down next to him. I put a pillow between us, so he wouldn't roll his enormous body over onto mine in the middle of the night. I reached across the pillow to touch him arm and I fell asleep like that.

In the morning, we woke. The sun shone through the windows, and the cat purred, and I watched him sleep for just a moment before removing the pillow to snuggle up with him. He stirred and put his arm around me, but didn’t open his eyes. After a few minutes he kissed my forehead, raked his fingers through my hair, and yawned. Then, he said “let’s go get the Brown Butter Corn Custard with tomato chutney, fresh tomato salad, and cilantro flowers from Librae. Get dressed. Let’s be in the car by 8:30, so we get one.”

This is only a dream I had though. I hope it is really a prophecy for I wish it would happen to me.
