I ran into Caleb today in the East Village today after I ate an entire Thompson Square bagel by myself. Like right after. He just moved here from DC. He's the bravest of us because he chose a real career over the Arts. I am a working artist but at least I am a successful business owner as well. Caleb and I caught up about what had happened since we last ran into each other 3 years ago. If you don't already know; God has connected people to me on an invisible string. We toured an apartment for his friend and then, as we walked to where he was meeting friends, I sensed another invisible string tug on me. Adnan Shivrani. I saw him in my peripheral with a White Woman, which was interesting considering the way he speaks about white poeole, but whateva. I decided to not engage for fear I would lose control and leave him with a second nose job bill. He, however, clearly doesn't understand the extent of my anger. He had the audacity to address me. He called out not even my name, but my nickname. HOW DARE? In the streets of New York after not answering my last text. Had Caleb not been there, I would have sent him straight to a plastic surgeon, but Caleb's presence saved Adnan. I hope he is grateful.
