Where to Get a High End Manicure in Jersey City

Unlike many people in the Jersey City and NYC, I'm qualified to tell you who does a great manicure because I'm from South Florida. We are serious about beauty in South Florida. No boring "clean girl" aesthetic, no monochrome, no slick backs; in South Florida, we do Diva.
In Jersey City and NYC, beauty providers that provide for Divas are are to find. I was looking for a nail tech that had it all:
•appointments
•a private or semi private space
•lots of experience doing intricate design
•a humble attitude
•reasonable booking policies
•serious business practices
When I was searching, half the nail techs I reached out to only accepted booking deposits via one payment method. I see this as a red flag as a client and a business owner myself because there's really no reason to only take payments over Zelle or Cashapp or whatever platform. To me, it just shows a lack of reasonable thought. Why am I jumping through hoops to pay you? So, any provider that didn't use a credit card processor to take bookings and only accepts one payment platform was scratched from my list when searching.
My already short list was whittled down again by the questions asked prior to the appointment. I think that for a luxury manicure, we need to discuss the design prior to the appointment. I think the really good nail techs always talk to you before so that they know they have the right materials, enough time, and skill to give you what you want without any surprises the day of. A few appointments I booked were hard to get in contact with to discuss what I want and were also deeply annoyed by me talking to them. Please note, I am not a yapper when it comes to receiving services. I am not trying to have a big, long conversation that will drive the provider nuts. I just want to share my needs and expectations. Quite a few of these people brushed me off when I asked to go over my design prior and they were absolutely not prepared with the materials or practice when I arrived. They were embarrassed, I was disappointed. I received okay manicures that were not the manicures I'd wanted because they couldn't do them, but I paid them (no tip) and noted that I wouldn't go back. I think other people should not get the service anyway and get a different manicure than what they want, I do it because I'm empathetic to being a gig worker.
After all this, I found one Nail Tech that truly had it all. Glam Nails by Lina. She owns her own salon space on the Newark Pedestrian Plaza. She is actually fully licensed in not only nails, but also makeup and hair. Her salon is clean, she is ready and willing to accept your money in whatever way you need to give it. She is reliable, she is consistent, and above all she's talented. I have never brought a design to Lina that she couldn't absolutely slay. So, she's my #1 spot. However, she just had a baby, so I'm in the wind. Forced to consider other good Nail Techs that just didn't impress me like Lina did. I made a list, now I'm sharing it with you. Diva to diva.
